@TheAge poll re support for #COVIDVIC19 lockdown extensions: Tracked 70% yes, 30% no and performed normally with votes trickling in. Then, yesterday, a sudden spike of 15,000 & #39;no& #39; votes occurred in a few seconds. Several more sudden spikes have been recorded. #IStandWithDan
I have tracked and recorded the sudden spikes, and have screenshots of how the poll progressed over time, with a number of sudden spikes demonstrating bot & #39;block votes& #39; were purchased at least 4 times.
These two screen shots were captured 16 seconds apart, and captured a sudden spike of & #39;no& #39; votes, only possible via a scripted bot & #39;block vote.& #39;
There are websites which make it easy for people to simply buy thousands of votes in Twitter polls, and it& #39;s easy to do (corporates often do it to generate buzz in their online comms).
It& #39;s much harder to script bots to vote in custom or & #39;non-Twitter& #39; polls, such as the same poll running on the Channel 9 website (Channel 9 is the owner of @TheAge).

Note the exact reversal of poll result:
A Liberal Branch leader from NSW (with ties to federal cabinet, and a chequered past) has since been found to have called for troops in NSW and the USA to & #39;flip the poll.& #39;
I place no stock in this poll, and other similar ones on Twitter, but there& #39;s no way @TheAge can publish the poll and place any stock in its results, as it& #39;s clearly been hijacked by a scripted voting block.
UPDATE: The Age has now deleted the poll.
Someone sunk at least $2,000 USD into buying bot votes and now it& #39;s gone.
Chris Kenny has been sucked in by The Age poll where around 70,000 to 80,000 fake & #39;no& #39; votes were purchased to flip the result. #IStandWithDan
They& #39;re doing it again - when will these losers give up? https://twitter.com/64Hyacinth/status/1303158076392923137">https://twitter.com/64Hyacint...
