Wtf no having long thick hair is the fucking worst. You have to wash it just as much as everyone else. It takes hours to dry. Brushing it is a bitch. You always have headaches. Forget about an updo. Getting a big undercut was the best thing I ever did. I used to have waist length insanely thick hair. It was hell. I mean sure it was pretty when I actually did it (rarely) but not worth it. I kept cutting it short after I was 19 but it didn’t help because still so thick!!

Now that literally half my head is shaved (my undercut goes up to the top of my ears) my pony tail is still as thick as most people’s entire head of hair in a pony tail. I don’t know who the fuck thinks long thick hair means less washing or brushing?

Now that my hair is thinner I don’t have to brush it. I can go a day or two without brushing it no problem. Long thick hair? NOPE! The underside of my hair at the nape of my neck would literally tangle and mat by the end of the day if I was wearing a coat or scarf.
