I decided today 9/7/20 that I am dropping meat altogether.

I'm going to use this thread to document my journey so feel free to just ignore it.

I am going slow and dropping red meat first. Not hard. Don't like it anyway. Chicken and all others will be next
This is going to be difficult for a while. I live in a home that consumes a lot of beef (their choice-not knocking it by any means. EYE just don't like it). It's always grossed me out but it's gotten worse since we eat it all the time now.
Tonight we had steak for dinner and I just couldn't stomach it so all that I had to eat was corn on the cob and pasta salad. It's now 10:15 and I am hungry and noticing that this has become a pattern.
I eat a bite or two of beef and then eat empty calories (sides). Then I'm hungry again at 9-10pm. It's not healthy to be snacking so late at night so that's why I decided to just take the plunge and drop it all together so I can start making foods that fill me up, that I can eat.
This thread will mostly be focused on dinner with the occasional lunch. I always eat a mostly vegetarian or vegan breakfast.
I would like to eventually become fully vegan, however I know that I need to take it slow.

(and also convince my husband to drop meat 😁)
