I spent almost $5k in @BestBuy last month and this is how it went. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with any store.

NEVER. AGAIN.
August 2nd I went into the store and bought a refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. I scheduled for everything to be delivered August 28th.
The Best Buy team member who was assisting us CLEARLY did not know what he was doing. We were in the store for over 3 hours while he tried to schedule our delivery and installation dates. We finally left the store and I was hungry and cranky.
We get home and sit down to eat and Desmond notices that he rang us up for 2 washers instead of one washer and one dryer 🤦🏽‍♀️. So we go back to the store and waste another hour while he figures out how to change it. He finally fixes it and everything is still set for delivery 8/28
On August 19th I got a text message from Best Buy saying “your appointment for August 27th has been confirmed”. August 27th? I scheduled everything for the 28th. Best Buy split my order to have my Fridge and dishwasher delivered the 27th and the washer and dryer the 28th. WTF
August 27th comes and no refrigerator and dishwasher. The window they were supposed to come was between 7am-1pm (yes, a fucking 6 hour window. Who tf does this?!). I called around 10:30 just to confirm and the customer service rep I spoke to said yes someone will be there by 1pm
1:15pm comes and still no refrigerator or dishwasher. So I call back and spoke to 4 different people who couldn’t see why no one showed up. I went back to @BestBuy and the appliance manager couldn’t tell why either. He assured me that a new appointment was confirmed for Sept 1st
While still at the store we ordered a microwave as well (long story). The appliance manager told us that the microwave was on back order until Sept 14th but that was ok with us because we have an air fryer. He said I would receive an email once I could schedule delivery
September 1st comes. And yes, you guessed it STILL NO FRIDGE OR DISHWASHER. I go back to Best Buy and speak with the store manager who cannot understand this. He can also see that I am visibly PISSED TF OFF. I mean LIVID.
But his customer service skills were exceptional and he really did feel my frustration. Once again my appointment had been changed without my permission or knowledge. So now my appointment is scheduled for September 8th....
Before leaving he tells us that the microwave we ordered would be on back order for months and it would be best for us to pick another one out. Bro WTF?! He sets us up with one of his appliance team members. And guess what the first thing is that the appliance guy says to us?
“Oh you guys are the ones that bought all of the appliances that day and were here for hours because So and So couldn’t schedule your appointments right and then you had to come back to the store because he ordered 2 washers instead of a washer and dryer.” Why yes, that is us. 🤦🏽‍♀️
So he finds us a microwave that is IN STOCK in the warehouse. He literally triple checked to make sure. He then scheduled it to be delivered and installed on September 8th since that when the fridge and dishwasher were now supposed to be coming.
Sept 5th comes. I get an email saying that I need to schedule an appointment for my microwave. Wtf do you mean? We just scheduled it for September 8th! I called Best Buy and the guy says to me that they are out of stock and the earliest we could get it is NOVEMBER FUCKING 4th.
So now I’M SEEING RED. I have completely had it up to hear with Best Buy. WE GO BACK TO THE STORE and speak with the same manager who cannot even believe we’re back. His face said it all. He brings us back to the appliance team member who originally helped us with the microwave.
We tell him what happened and he’s like “what do you mean it’s out of stock?!” He goes in the computer and finds one that’s available in another Best Buy store. At this point I tell him “I’m just gonna go pick it up myself” He changes the order so that I can go pick it up
He called the other Best Buy store and they assured him they had it. We drive 10 minutes away and get there, park in one of the pick up parking spots and call for them to bring it out to us. A few minutes later a manager comes out. No microwave in his hands. Here we fucking go.
He says that he sees the order and they have the microwave but the person at the store who was helping us scheduled the pick up the wrong way so now we have to wait for their system to read it. So we wait a few more minutes and the. We FINALLY get the microwave.
Tomorrow is September 8th and I say all of this to say this. I know I’m not getting my shit delivered and installed tomorrow. So I’ve mentally prepared myself to GO TF OFF. 🙃
