To say this week has been overwhelming is an understatement. The racism, microagressions and gaslighting that Bayleigh and Da’vonne have experienced daily (but especially this week) is beyond disgusting and should not be tolerated. #BB22

Weaponizing the Black Lives Matter movement for a game move is reprehensible.
Suggesting that a Black person is angry and going to shoot you because they’re upset is reprehensible.
The racism in this house? Reprehensible.
Because of the blatant racism and bias we’ve all witnessed this week, it’s hard to find any positive things to say in regards to the current season of #BB22.
With that said, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s episode of All Girls Alliance. We encourage those who are feeling depleted and triggered to also take a break as well. #AGAPOD #BB22
While #BB22 is suppose to be a show that helps us to escape from our daily lives, it’s clearly a microcosm of society. People who don’t think of themselves as racist harm BIPOC on the daily and never examine why or have to answer to their awful and disgusting behavior.
That is NOT okay.
We say this all to say, Black Lives Matter. Period. This is not up for debate. There’s no and’s, if’s or but’s about it. This isn’t a joke. This isn’t about a game show. What we are witnessing is real life and it’s gross and sad and annoying and so many other horrible things!
That said, we’re sending lots of love to all the Black people who are in pain watching a show they once loved. We see you, we hear you and we support you! #BB22
