There seems to be a genuine lack of understanding by some as to the extent that electronic communication has changed human interactions and notions of community.

Tinder’s led to marriages.

For as many church folk are genuinely missing meeting face to face, there are church folk and church leaders anxious to get back to “normal” because this pandemic has exposed how unprepared a lot of us are to conduct ministry in a modern setting.

Let’s keep it real.
Folks nervous as hell because some folks have grown closer to God after not having been to ya building in 6 months and you scared they never gon darken ya doorway and drop money in the collection plate no more.
Accepting the fact that some of our deficiencies have been exposed is the first step in becoming the churches we need to be to minister in the age we inhabit.

But I’ve been wrong before.
A lot of churches have an “online campus”. Which is a step in the right direction. But still maybe a step behind.

If it hasn’t already been done, the first community to establish an online church with a physical campus or two is gonna change the game.
I was bout to keep riffin on this thread, but I was bout to give the game away for free.

And God ain’t sanctified that part of the hustler out of me yet 🤣
