so i’ve noticed that the title tracks have left hints for future comeback names... here are my educated guesses (open thread)

in Crown, one lyric is “stop the loneliness abracadabra” which led to TDC: MAGIC

in Run Away, “please be my eternity” which led to TDC ETERNITY

so here I am over analyzing cysm lyrics tryna figure it out...

for the first half of the name, I do feel like it’ll be “The Love Chapter.”

in case you haven’t seen it yet, that theory comes from this pic from Intro: Persona (BTS)

what if it’s not though.... ha. ha.

anyways, assuming that it is, here are my predictions based on CYSM lyrics:

(tlc = the love chapter)

TLC: SECRET

cysm lyric: “I’m yours, you’re mine. Secrets of the world”

other context:
• Hueningkai’s morse code is secret
• Concept photos/teasers such as Hueningkai’s tdc star photocard or magic island teaser

TLC: PROMISE

cysm lyrics:
“That eternal promise was like magic”
“our promised something something”

other context:
• Yeonjun’s morse code is promise
• Album photos/teasers such as Yeonjun’s photocard for tdc star or his magic island teaser

TLC: BELIEVE

cysm lyric: “like on that magical day, say believe me”

• also in a lyric of sweat: “believe it, believe it, yeah yeah yeah”

TLC: HEART

cysm lyric: “my heart incinerated, come and feel me, feel me”

other context:
• Hueningkai’s pain/special spot is his heart
• Hueningkai’s light pattern is hearts (from the “intro film: what do you see”
• Hueningkai’s tdc magic photocard says +

+ “What is the identity of this tingling? Something that makes my HEART beat. Is it pleasure, excitement, or fear?”

also, tdc started with a shape... which is Yeonjun’s light pattern

sooo TLC starting with a shape?

yeah TLC: HEART is looking pretty sexc to me

TLC: PROMISE has two cysm lyrics though.... so idk lol

some honorable mentions that I don’t think are actual contenders. but I was still proud of myself for thinking of them:

doesn’t have cysm lyric,

other context:
^ beomgyu’s light pattern is diamonds (intro film: what do you do?)
^ everlasting shine lyric: “shine like a diamond”

kinda goes with the shape theory though?

honorable mention 2
TLC: SCINTILLA
I know, I know, sounds kinda dumb, but it seemed like such a specific unusual word so it jumped out at me
cysm lyric: “our Scintilla bloomed under the starlight”

derived from latin meaning spark, as in from a burning ember

also the lyrics RIGHT after are so creepy — sort of relating to the burning ember translation of scintilla: “now see them burn in fire. turned into ruins, our memories into ashes”

so their scintilla (or their spark / special quality together) bloomed under the starlight (in NOAS)

but then it got out of hand and burned everything down - somehow even their memories

i don’t think it’ll be the title, but now you know the cool relation of the word
