The most important question to ask yourself when watching the MSM is not, "is this story true?" Even though, considering their penchant for fabrication, that's a reasonable question. The real important question to ask is, "why are they showing me this?" (continued)

How are they hoping to CHANGE me or others in showing me this story? What do they want my attitude to be? The news is "programming". It does include real and true events, but mixed in with all kinds of BS. It's not about rating, either. They don't care about that anymore.

And when you add it all up, they want you to be fearful, neurotic, lonely, isolated. The programming for a different era had completely different content and goals.
