While OL blocking does look different from athlete to athlete, based upon a bunch of different variables, if you look at these clips from a pure movement perspective, you’ll see these patterns begin to emerge in everything athletes do. And there is some variance, as w/anything.
An OL athlete base blocking a tight shade, will look different from a puller, bc they dont need to put as much FTTG to set hips on their angle. They need to put themselves in position to fight pressure NOW, so toe strike, may be a midfoot strike, so they can be stronger, faster.
At the end of the day, techniques and methods can vary, but principles of movement should be your foundation, and body positioning should look similar no matter the sport.
