-so this guy i’ve been homies w wanted to rent a room from me recently
-he ended up telling me he had feelings for me & i found out he hadn’t given his landlord 30 days notice so he asked to move in TWO weeks later than the first & pay half rent ??

-basically bc of him not handling his landlord stuff i ended up renting the room & paid almost $600 PLUS my own rent for last month
-this was in part bc my landlord was freaked out about my homie not handling his 30 days bc he needed to write a lease & is currently in the U.K.

-i told my landlord (he’s my previous roommate) all the stuff about my homie having feelings for me & him not communicating about breaking his current lease bc i was EXTREMELY uncomfortable about it all & that’s when i told him i would just pay for the room
-in the meantime, classes started back up & my roommate (that shares a room w whoever moves in) expressed that he wanted a friend to move in instead bc he already had everything sorted & they work on music together so it worked best for him & made him most comfortable
-(because the didn’t want to share a room with someone he doesn’t know, aka my homie, and can get more work done for his music)
-my homie ended up following up with me RIGHT before the first & i told him that someone else was looking at renting the room

-AS SOON AS i knew that someone else was FORSURE going to rent the room i let him know & he IGNORED ME FOR OVER A WEEK
-i’m literally disabled & this homie had promised me rides to get food & etc bc i can’t get there on my own rn & was like i had my own stuff to do

-while i completely understand if you’re busy, it’s pretty not chill to leave your friends hanging on a living situation thing when you are 30 years old just bc things didn’t go your way ?? i was literally just the messenger & got cold shouldered
-NOW BEFORE ANY OF THIS, i TOLD HIM about having told my landlord about how i was uncomfortable about the feelings thing & the not giving notice so HE KNEW prior to me telling him & i was HONEST that we were still considering him to move in at the time
-ANYWAYS, we talked today & he asked me what i’m eating for breakfast & i was expressing that i’d never gone to the store so i don’t have food to cook still & that it was fine bc i knew he was busy but wished he would have communicated bc he was literally “shooting the messenger”
-WHICH LED HIM TO SAY .... THAT I MADE UP A LIE SO THAT HE COULDN’T MOVE IN ??? he literally ACCUSED ME of making up lies to tell my landlord & tried to say i fucked him over when he MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE for telling me he had feelings for me & wanting to move in w me &
for not even being a responsible ADULT & giving his landlord notice so he could have moved in on time?

-AND THEN ... when i tell him that & that it was the truth, HE DEADASS SAID I EVEN TOLD HIM I LIED ??? -WHICH NEVER HAPPENED, i told him that i told my landlord exactly what i wrote in this thread ???
i am just so ?!?!? is this gaslighting bc what the FUCK dude ?? how do you put a girl through all of this & then say SHE MADE IT UP & FURTHER SAY she TOLD YOU that she made it all up CAN SOMEONE PLS EXPLAIN bc i deadass had to end a phone call w him & i’m still shaking from it
