Thread. Interviewing a new school. Based on lots of costly mistakes here follows questions I would now ask if I was interviewing a new school because make no mistake that is what you are doing here goes . . .
What are your thoughts about league tables? Do you think yours are an accurate reflection of your school?

The right answer should be NO!
Do you have a policy of equality and inclusion and can I see it.
What are your thoughts about Ofsted and particularly your last report. Do you agree that it's an accurate reflection of the current situation with your school?

The answer will be interesting.
In terms of training about Autism where do you source your training and who provides it and how often?
Why do you think OT is so important and does your school have therapists named and attached to the school? How is therapy bought in?

Any waffling then run.
How do you ensure co-production with parents?

If they ask what it is - run.
(where applicable) can you explain to me the process of SEND support? How does this work in your school?
What percentage of your children are bringing in pupil premium and how is that used effectively. Can you describe how this has raised the attainment of disadvantaged children?
Do you have a uniform policy and how is that differentiated for children with SEND?
Can you explain to me how you accomodate children with sensory needs. Do you have a sensory room?
