Systems > Goals

There’s 3 brilliant and well respected people who I think would agree 100%

Goal:

The object of a person's ambition or effort. An aim or desired result

System:

A set of principles or procedures, a set of repeatable actions

There’s nothing wrong with goals

But which one do you think will give you better, more consistent long term results?
• Systems replace motivation with routine

• Goals can be harder to follow up on

• Systems are more consistent therefore making them more rewarding

• Goals carry a negative mindset, they’re a target you can’t reach yet

• Systems are more realistic & flexible
Turning a goal into a system:

Goal = Lose 30 Lbs

To turn this into a system, break it down into a few small, repeatable tasks

- Plan your meals, prepare them in advance

- Set a specific time, place and duration for your workouts

- Choose what exercises you’ll do each day
If you follow your system

Not only will you be able to reach your goal

But you’re more likely to maintain a healthy lifestyle

And keep that weight off!
