Why is it that some people are such great execution machines ?

Whatever they get into, they make something good out of it, while others who chase goals with equal desire fall short.

A Thread :
In first chapter of his iconic book, Atomic Habits, James Clear attributes a great deal of importance to the art of having the right systems in place, for achieving goals.
Most of our goals require a sustained flow of energy, much like running a marathon.
Mind it, you cannot win a marathon by putting in that massive boost of energy in the very beginning of the race.

Now, you decide if you wanna run like a child or pace it like a marathon runner.
James says that most of us wrongly convince ourselves that massive success requires massive action.
Power of compounding is perhaps the most discussed power on Twitter. Same mantra applies to achieving anything in life.

Atomic Habits are the best tool you can use to empower your goals with the power of compounding.
Atomic habits help you improve by one percent everyday, it may not be very noticeable on first day but can be far more meaningful in long term.

Hence, success is the product of such a system of daily habits that you build and not once in a lifetime transformations.
How does a system of atomic habits help one use the power of compounding

Its because it makes everything compound :

1. Productivity : By automating everyday or building new habits, you free your brain to focus on so many different things, leading to great gains.
Even your negative energies compound if not addressed at right time.

2. Knowledge : A commitment to lifelong learning and positive thoughts can be very transformative.
3. Relationships : Happy and nice conduct in relationships can help one have a network of broad and strong connections over time.
But how do you build your systems and how are they diff from chasing goals?

Goals are about the results you want to achieve and systems are about the processes that lead to those results.

Focus on systems instead of goals.
If you don't apply the learning of a book through right kind of introspection & planning, there is little good it can do in your life.
So don't fall short in converting your goals into a system.

While I do not know the exact recipe that can help one create that perfect plan for translating your goal into success story.

Here is my thought process of taking first step in transforming goal into a system.
