Respect the "no."

Too many in sales, marketing and advertising think they can overcome the "no." Stop.

Listen to what they person is saying. Respect their decision and move on. No. Most times you cannot convert a serious "no." Accept this.
Very few people will tell you "no" directly.

Americans find it harsh or rude, so when you get a "no," accept it because the majority of the time, the person means it.

There will be no conversion happening here today. No. You are not that brilliant or smart or creative.
Being told "no" is rejection, but often it is not personal.

Learn to accept the rejection. (Put no your big person panties and move on.)

People like what they like, and they dislike what they dislike. Stop at "no." Please understand that accepting "no" is part of the job.
"No" is your friend. It tells you who is or isn't interested. It lets you know that you are wasting your time. The "no" is as truthful as a person will get with you. Don't waste time, energy and resources on someone trying to win over a "no" when you could be converting "maybes."
