Ytube isn’t removing closed captions, they’re discontinuing the community caption service due to a vast amount of users submitting inaccurate captions for creators. There are other ways to getting videos captioned, many inexpensive services one can look into #DontRemoveYoutubeCCs

I was just making it clear that captions aren’t leaving cuz some people in the hashtag seem to think that. I’m hoping they replace the system with something more efficient than their automated system. Cuz some of us be slippin when it comes to captioning, including me.

I do have a meeting with some Ytube peeps tomorrow and I wanna talk about what their plans are, it’s uncomfortable to think they will just leave it to the creators themselves or the automated system so I hope they have a bigger plan
