To Texas Bar Exam Takers,

Thank you to so many of you (from across Texas and across the country) who have reached out over the past few months. I have been humbled and honored to learn of your experiences studying for the #barexam in this most unusual year.
More than that, I have been impressed by your resilience, your commitment, and your professionalism. No group of examinees in generations has faced the uncertainty, the disruptions, and the economic challenges you have encountered.
Yet you have endured. You have supported each other. You have maintained focus. You have advocated for yourself. And you have proven your character.
As you approach the bar exam -- either this week or next month -- approach the exam with confidence. Your success in law school means that, with the right preparation, you can pass this test. Have faith in yourself and your preparation!
And remember that we – your law school deans, your faculty, our schools, and our alumni -- are in your corner. This is true not only as you prepare for the bar exam (and as you take and pass the test), but also as you start your careers.
In marathon running, bystanders frequently hold up a sign: “Pain is temporary. Pride is forever.” The same holds true of preparing for the bar exam. You are in the home stretch; the finish line is in sight! You’ve got this!
The pride of passing the bar exam is forever! I look forward to working with you in your new profession in the years to come. Be strong. Be well. And all the best. #TxBarExam
