1. Multiple skills:

"Every skill you learn will multiply your odds of success"

Skills you need are,

- Design
- Persuasion
- Psychology
- Technology
- Accounting
- Conversation
- Public speaking
- Business writing
- Second language
- Overcoming shyness
- Proper voice technique
2. Good + Good > Excellence:

You can escape the competition by combining unusual skills.

If you are good in 2 complementary skills, you can reduce competition to the top.

Example, Good copywriting skills + Good communication skills always outweigh excellent copywriting skills.
The best way to know which skills you should pursue?

- Know where your talents are.

- What interested you more in childhood? A child doesn't hide feelings.

- Risk tolerance: Can you afford to get trouble, while achieving in that field? (Getting embraced if want to be an actor)
3. Failure:

Failure is where success likes to hide in plain sight.

If success were easy, everyone would do it.

You can take advantage of it, because it keeps lazy people out of the game.

Many successful people failed. The trick is to get the good stuff out.
4. Storytelling:

Everyone can't tell good stories. Everyone messes.

Here's a great part you can use to tell stories.

a. Setup (Keep it brief.)
b. Tell a Pattern (a common situation)
c. Foreshadow (give a clue)
d. The Characters.
e. make it relatable.
f. Add a plot twist.
5. Psychology & persuasion:

Psychology is embedded in everything we do.

- To attract clients, customers, life partners.
- To make someone obey us.
- To make sales.

You need to learn at least basic psychology.
6. Systems vs Goals:

In most cases, People with systems perform better than people with goals.

When you achieve a goal, You'll lose a purpose that kept you working. But the system is a process that keeps you working.

Systems can also save you a lot of time.
7. Knowing when to quit:

Persistence is good. But you must know when to quit.

Small successes can grow into big ones,
But failures rarely grow into successes.

If things never work, then they will start out bad and stay that way.

It is better to give up sometimes.
8. Affirmations:

Affirmations are the practice of repeating to yourself what you want to achieve while imagining the outcome you want.

The typical form of an affirmation would be
“I, {name}, will become financially independent.”

They just work.
