I didn't start dating until I was 23. You know, strict parents and the fact that I didn't look that appealing through my puberty stage 🤦🏿‍♀️. My parents almost had "No boys allowed" signpost in the compound.
With that, my teenage years flashed by without any guy hitting on me. Why would you do that anyway after what dad did to the last guy that did?

🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️
I grew up with the attitude of, "since no one actually cares, I don't owe anyone good looks". It was books all through. I treated hair DOs as extravagant. Manicures as silly. And sat in the most unlady like postures you can imagine. Ghost Bro? Huh
I didn't have a social life good enough to educate me about trends and what's better. When I was away from the eagle eyes of my parents at campus, I finally got a boyfriend(thank God).

🥰🔥❤️🤗
The first time he came over was just a series of silent comedy clips. Well, I started making an effort looking good. Because, who on earth wants their boyfriend look better than them? I started doing my hair. 🤷‍♂️
I also started doing my nails. It is expensive btw🤦🏿‍♀️. See, there was no way I would use my hands to pick charcoal again. The nails guys. The nails 🥰🤷‍♂️ plus I had a boyfriend.
I didn’t only transition my social life but I made sure I got @Shell_Uganda since it was the cool for cool girls. I still use the same gas and guess what I will be refilling it at a discount this weekend with the #ShellNyongeza campaign.
Look out for the mentioned places and wait for the refill teams to arrive in your area this weekend. Don’t let this amazing offer pass you 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
