My left eye has been twitching recently and it has been bothersome.
Although it isn& #39;t painful, but it& #39;s more of a & #39;Lord, what vision do you want me to see exactly?& #39; kinda thought that has been running through my head.

I picked up my phone and decided to ask my bestie...
Wait. Could it be a health problem?

Oya let me check. I checked and read a few blog posts. Ehen. My mind was at rest. I& #39;m sure everyone/almost everyone at some point in their lives must have experienced eye twitches.

The truth?
They are very common, so no cause for alarm.
Eyelid twitching, also known as Myokymia, is an involuntary eyelid muscle contraction that most commonly affects the lower eyelid.

During an episode, it may feel as if the eyeball is twitching or shaking. However, it is rarely associated with movement of the eyeball.
So you can see that Myokymia is a common thing and will most likely resolve on its own, so ma fo.

Butttt, if the twitching doesn& #39;t go away within a few weeks OR your eyelid completely closes with each twitch and there& #39;s difficulty opening your eyes, jowo, see your doctor.
Now that you know God isn& #39;t trying to show you a vision, or that your village people are not flashing torchlight in your eyes, how can you ditch the twitches if they make you uncomfortable?

- Get some rest
- Reduce the stress abegg
- Limit caffeine
- Gently massage your eyelid.
- Keep your eye surfaces lubricated with eye drops.
