1- Optimize your profile

Your profile is your brand's face

Make sure to have a good looking one

-Use quality header
-Put your website on the bio
-Use a pic that goes along with your brand
-Be specific about your brand on the bio/ humor works well too

2- Be active every day

The more consistent you are the faster you'll see results

Being active will get you visibility

Simple as that

Some people don't like it but I love scheduling my tweets

• They will keep you organized
• You can post tweets at any time you'd like
• It will prevent you from being inactive if something comes up

It doesn't mean you can't tweet manually

You can and you should

But there are other great tools you can use for scheduling

3- Follow the big accounts

Big accounts were once where you are right now

If they manage to do it, so can you

Follow their steps, see how they did it

Connect to them as much as you can

I advise you to create a list with some of them

Here's what you can do when they tweet:

• RT them
• Comment with value
• Help them if they ask for it
• Congratulate them on their victories

Don't be afraid to DM them

They're a person just like you

Don't take it personally if they don't respond

It doesn't mean they are arrogant

It just means they're busy

4- Provide value on your tweets

Quality > Quantity

You want to keep your timeline clean and professional

Don't spam it with trash tweets

You'll just give your brand a bad look

People follow you to learn, so make sure you teach them

Ok, platitudes might get you some likes and comments

But you want to add context to your brand

Focus on delivering great content

That's how you'll keep your audience

5- Have a personality

Don't act like a robot

Make some personal posts from time to time

People like to feel they're interacting with a real person and not just with your avatar

Use humor on your tweets and comments

Ask more questions

Be genuinely interested in people

Have something unique to stand out
