These movies had a huge impact on me when I was a kid. The Aliens parastic nature seems a mirrored distillation of some futuristic amplified corporate parasitism. Apathy and sinister intent surround fundamentally vulnerable groups of humans in all 3 films. https://twitter.com/ModernistRight/status/1042897691578171392
Similar to Blade Runners urban sequences, sort of a "post city" in that film insofar as any order or possibility of order seemse somehow to have been vanquished, but jutting out of it some inconceivably large corporate offices, pyramid shaped. Weyland Yutani occupies this place..
In the Aliens trilogy, rendered very skillfully via innuendo and its palpable absence. The Company without ever appearing on screen casts a looming, impossibly large shadow. This was the 70s/80s vision of futuristic dark corporatism. Leviathan manned by drones.
The crew of the nostromo, the settlers on the alien planet, the marines, and the prison colony. Also ripley herself shown in the sequel drifting through space, a visual representation: all specs of dust in a sea of apathy and sociopathic literally alien intent.
