This is one of the very first films of Ajith that was dropped midway. Even the songs of the film composed by Deva were released. And due to some unknown reasons Ajith moved away from the film and later the project was completely shelved.

After Rajavin Parvaiyile (1995), Ajith and Vijay were once again set to share the screen space in this film that was directed by Vasanth and produced by Mani Ratnam...

After a few days of filming Ajith withdrew from the film due to date issues. He was eventually replaced by debutant Suriya....

🅽🅴🆆(2000):-
It was announced in 2000 that Ajith and Jyothika were set to play the lead roles in 'New'. When the first look of the film released, it gathered a lot of appreciation.

But things did not go as planned and eventually both Ajith and Jyothika moved out of the project. The film was once again renewed by SJ Surya in 2004.

After the Success of 'Sethu' in 1999, director Bala came up with the script of 'Nandha' in 2001. Ajith was initially signed to play the lead in the film, but due to some reasons, best know to Ajith and Bala, 'Thala' was replaced yet again by Suriya.

Ajith was all set to join hands with 'Citizen' director Saravana Subaiya again. Their 2nd collaboration was title "Itihasam" & even the first look was released. The movie was a historical flick. Later due to Unknown reasons, the film was dropped

Ajith joined hands with director saran for the 3rd time after block buster kadhal mannan (1998) & Amarkalam(1999). After nearly 40% of the film's shoot, Ajith decided not to continue with the film due to disagreement with the script #Valimai #ThalaAjith

Ajith played a local don in this action flick that was set to release on Diwali(2001). After Ajith walked away,Saran rewrote the script & cast Vikaram to play the lead. The film was titled 'Gemini', which turned out to be Biggest BB in Vikram's career.
