Let's first talk about their releases in 2017. Album You Never Walk Alone was released on February 13, 2017. YNWA debuted at no. 61 on Billboard Hot 200 and no. 1 on BB World Album's Chart (3rd for BTS). No. 1 iTunes album chart in 13 countries.

Received a pre-order of over 700K physical copies, the highest record for the first half of 2017. Sold over 710K copies in Feb 2017, the highest ever for a single month in Gaon Chart History. BTS also became the 1st Kpop Artist to enter the Billboard main album chart 6 times.

In South Korea, the album charted at No. 1 on Gaon Weekly Chart with 373,750 albums sold in one week, earning the band their 7th weekly chart-topper and breaking the record set by Wings. It also topped Feb Gaon Monthly Chart, the highest physical sales for the first half of 2017.

Upon its release in China, the album sold 144,400 in the first week on QQ Music, and charted at No. 1 on the best-selling albums of the week.

Spring Day achieves all kill in less than 2 hours and crashed after release. peaked at no 1 on the US Billboard World Digital Songs chart selling 14,000 copies. BTA became the First kpop group song to break into Top 10 in iTunes song chart. Sold 215,224 units for the first week.

Charted at number 15 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. 4 music show wins. Won Song of the Year in MMA and Digital Bonsang in GDA. Peaked at number 24 and 38 on the UK Independent Singles Chart and Billboard Japan Hot 100, respectively. No 1 on QQ Music Weekly Chart.

Now the longest charting song in Melon Top 100 (queen things).

Next is Not Today. Not Today follows Spring at no. 2 on all 8 major charts. No 1 on QQ Music Daily and Weekly Charts. Charted at no 23 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and no 77 on the Canadian Hot 100.

Peaked at number four on the component Download Chart, selling 100,482 digital units in its first week. Debuted at number two on the US Billboard World Digital Songs Chart w/ 12,000 digital downloads in its first week. Soon it peaked at no 1 their fourth number one on the chart

The four new tracks held the top four slots on the World Digital Songs chart making BTS the first K-pop act to do so. The Spring Day mv broke the record set by BST for the fastest K-pop MV to reach 10 million views, which was then broken by the MV for Not Today. (KINGS WBK)

Now let's proceed to The Wings Tour. It visited 12 countries including Brazil, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and the United States. The tour gathered 550,000 fans, making it the band's second biggest tour to date.

BTS became the fastest K-pop group to sell out the Movistar Arena, Chile's largest indoor arena. Acc. to Puntoticket, BTS' con was the fastest-selling show in Chile's history, only comparable to Maroon 5’s con in 2015 selling more than 10,000 tickets in less than 2 hours.

In Brazil, more than 50,000 fans tried to buy the 14,000 available tickets, which led to protests on Twitter asking for the Brazilian promoters of the tour to move the concerts to a larger venue.

Tickets for the North American leg sold out within a few minutes. Due to high demand, 2 add shows were added for the Prudential and Honda Center. Over 60K fans were in attendance at the concerts in Newark, Chicago & Anaheim. BTS became the first K-pop act to sell out arenas in US

Now, the Paper Award that y'all are making fun of. BTS has become the first K-pop group to win at the BBMA. They are also the the first ever for a K-pop boy band attending the BBMA. BTS stopped the 6 year run of Justin Bieber and took home the Top Social Artist award.

After that, the legendary Love Yourself series has started with Love Yourself: Her. Ly Her was released on September 18, 2017. BTS became the first K-pop group to reach more than 1 million pre-orders (w/o int. sales). It debuted at number one in Korea on the Gaon Album Chart.

The EP opened at NO. 7 on the US BB Hot 200, making it the highest-charting and biggest sales week K-pop album on the chart. It achieved 31K album-equivalent units, of w/c 18K were pure sales. This made BTS the first Asian artist in 7 years to debut within the top 10 of the chart

BTS made their debut on the UK Albums Chart with the EP, peaking at number 14. BTS became the first ever Korean act to be in the album Top 40.

According to the monthly Gaon Album Chart Love Yourself: Her was the highest-selling release of September 2017, with 1,203,533 copies sold since its release. The first in 16 years to exceed 1.2 million copies sold since g.o.d's fourth album Chapter 4.

LY Her debuted at no. 2 in Oricon Weekly Charts and peaked at no. 1 without any promotions in Japan.

BTS achieved with "Her" all in just 24hrs of it's release. - HER was #1 in 73 countries.

DNA debuted at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart and sold 224,178 digital units within its first week of release. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 and at number five on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.

It debuted at number 85 on the US BB Hot 100 becoming BTS' first entry on the chart. It climbed to and peaked at number 67. It became the highest-charting song by a Korean band, surpassing Wonder Girls' record at number 76.

The single debuted at number one on the US World Digital Songs (4th of BTS).

DNA gave BTS their first entry on the UK Singles Chart at number 90. The song also charted at number 47 on the Canadian Hot 100 and appeared at number 99 on Australia's ARIA Charts.

DNA also recieved 10 music show wins.

Next is Mic Drop, the original version of "Mic Drop" debuted at number 17 on the Gaon Digital Chart and at number 14 on the component Download Chart. The song peaked at number six on the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 chart and number seven on the US World Digital Song Sales chart.

The remix of Mic Drop debuted at number 28 on the US Billboard Hot 100 becoming the first top 40 entry by a K-pop group on the chart. The single debuted at number one on the US World Digital Songs chart (6th no. 1) entered the US Digital Song Sales chart at number four.

It charted at no 37 on the Canadian Hot 100 and no 46 on the UK Singles Chart. It peaked at 5 in Malaysia, 33 on the France,no 26 in Scotland, 39 in South Korea, 50 in Australia, and 71 in Germany.

The Japanese version debuted at number one on both the Oricon Singles Chart and the Billboard Japan Hot 100. It was the 13th best-selling single of 2017 in Japan.

MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" entered the Billboard Pop Songs radio airplay chart at No. 37, making BTS the first K-pop group to earn a spot on the chart.

The track went on to break this record again by reaching 5 weeks on the chart on January 3 (at No. 82), 6 weeks on January 9 (at No. 66), 7 weeks on January 17 (at No. 74), 8 weeks on January 23 (at No. 79), and 9 weeks on January 30 (at No. 84)

BTS became first K-pop group to ever enter the Billboard Rhythmic Songs radio airplay chart, with "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" entering at No. 40.

With just Mic Drop, BTS became the highest-charting entry by K-pop group on Billboard Hot 100 (no. 28), highest-charting song by K-pop group on US iTunes Songs Chart (no. 1), highest-charting song by K-pop group of all time (no. 1), Most liked song in 24 hours (2M),

highest-charting song by K-pop group on Billboard Canadian Hot 100 (no. 37) and longest-charting K-pop group song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS did that without any featuring. Yes, kings.

BTS appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! While in Los Angeles, the group held a mini-concert for fans, and performances from that show were later aired on Live the following week. They also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Late Show with James Corden.

In Japan, BTS’ releases “MIC Drop/DNA/Crystal Snow” topped the Japanese Oricon weekly singles chart. It climbed to the top and then some, as it became the first foreign artist to rake over 300,000 points -- criteria set on record sales -- in the charts.

Billboard ranked BTS as No. 10 in its annual year-end top 10 artists list. It marked the first time for a Korean artist to crack the top 10 spot.

First 6 days of the pre-order period for LY: Tear, the album had sold more than 1.44 m copies domestically, surpassing LY: Her as the most pre-ordered album in Korea, making BTS the first K-pop group to have 2 albums exceed one million pre-orders.

Album tops charts in 65 countries within 24 hours. Possibly as high as 73 countries.

From January to June, the album sold 1.75 million copies in South Korea and is the lone album to have reached at least 1 million in sales.

It sold 1.66M copies in its first 2 wks, being the highest monthly sales for an album since Gaon Charts inception.

The album was eventually certified "Million" by the Korea Music Content Association in July 2018, becoming the first album to receive this after the Gaon Music Chart launched certifications earlier that year.

The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, earning 135,000 album-equivalent units becoming BTS' highest-charting album in a Western market at the time, as well as the first Korean album to top the US albums chart and the highest-charting album by an Asian act.

It is also the highest sales week for both BTS and a Korean act in the United States, and the first album primarily in a non-English language to top the Billboard 200 since Il Divo with Ancora in 2006.

As of July 2018, according to Nielsen Music's Mid-Year Report, Love Yourself: Tear is the ninth best-selling album of 2018 in the United States, and is the top-selling foreign language album.
