A Duchenne smile is the one that reaches your eyes, making the corners wrinkle up with crow’s feet. It’s the smile most of us recognize as the most authentic expression of happiness.. lets take H for example..

Now let’s look at Lou’s Duchenne smile:

Now let’s talk about a Pan Am Smile..
Also known as the Botox smile..it is the name given to a fake smile, a smile that only uses your mouth and not your eyes. The name refers to Pan Am stewardesses, who would always have to smile when around passengers, even if it was insincere
