Gretas Thunberg is on the warpath against an extension of an oil refinery in Lysekil, my place of birth, demanding the government stop the extension. Lysekil is a working class town, a majority of the people I grew up with.. 1/4 https://www.aftonbladet.se/a/na5zLJ 

..are dependent on this refinery & the city would die without it. It's a sleepy coastal town, a beautiful, ordinary place & right now activists from Greenpeace & Extinction Rebellion are trying to kill it off, blocking the entrance 2 the place of work for decent, ordinary ppl 2/4

I can't tell you how provoked I get when privileged middle- 6 upper class folks from the big city tell others how to live & why our lives don't matter. On of my closest friends has worked at Preem Refinery since he was 16, he has no formal education but he has created.. 3/4

..a great life for his family in this town that he (and I) love. Who is Greta and her minions to say that these towns should die off? Just because they've never had to work hard at a factory & depend on it for a living? This is not activism, it is blind privilege
