Morning! It is Sept 2020, but autumn sabre rattling over Brexit is very much back with PM upping the rhetorical ante overnight naming an Oct 15 deadline for trade talks and a @pmdfoster scoop putting cat among the pigeons overnight

Remember there are lots of different things going on here - stuttering trade talks, work on sorting arrangements for NI, (Joint Committee) also not concluded, and a bill to sort out how different countries in UK trade coherently outside the EU

Note that George Eustice denied govt was trying to get rid of the NI protocol - but not sure the unresolved tensions can be just dismissed a 'loose ends' - possible we'll hear more about this in Commons later today
