Why I'll never fly @AirAsia ever again. And I'm asking everyone to follow.. A thread.
So as I've posted before. I booked AirAsia tickets for 5 pax to Taiwan (two way), the trip was schedules last April. And ofc due to covid got cancelled.
So air Asia initially offered a refund. To which I agree. Then they said it will be processed. Then after weeks and weeks they advised its no longer a refund but rather a credit amount to my account. With he covid happening all over the world its very impractical to schedule
Or even plan a trip abroad. I mean domestic flights is super hard how much more of abroad. So they said they like guve you 1 year to use it blah blah. That was back April. It's September now. 5 months have passed its still unsafe to travel if not impossible. So I guess it's a
Wise choice to just opt for the refund. But @AirAsia is very inconsiderate that after they gave me the option to do refund they then said I can't. For what reason, the all start agent can't explain well. As I've worked with an airlines before I'm kind of familiar with airlines
Rules and passengers right. So I kind of used that knowledge and proved to @AirAsia all star agent that I can do a refund. And so they said yes. Finally. Like a guy asking a girl to marry him. I was super excited
But my excitement was cut short when the agent said it will take 12-13 weeks to process. Fast forward to a lot of weeks after. Haha! And tadaaa! Air Asia said they won't be pushing through with the reufnd and that I would have to reply to their email where they want me to accept
A flight credit instead. For 5 pax worth of tickets. Which I paid forward for. A flight which includes like 1 senior citizen, 1 person with a pre existing condition, 1 person stuck in the province due to lock down, and 2 working healthy individuals who can't take anymore leaves
Cause they need to work. I mean @AirAsia, you are something to remember. I mean it. Super. After making me wait for 5 months (20weeks) from the approval of my refund request, you will tell that you can no longer do the refund cause I did not respond to your
Email, which clearly states THAT I should just accept a credit instead of pushing for a refund. Wow. Just wow. World class service huh?
This is why I urge everyone who can possibly read this thread to PLEASE, know your rights as a passenger. Oh by the way, please know that my tickets are regular priced tickets. REGULAR PRICED TICKETS. Not the piso fate or whatever promo there is.
@AirAsia I have tried to reach out to you multiple times in different channels but I never got any proper response except for yes your refund request is approved and is on process. Just wait few more weeks. Only to knos that the update you are giving me is
