Let’s go through why you’re getting hate for this once again, shall we? (Thread?)

You tweeted this meme in response to a Ryan Reaves hit that got him ejected from the game.

So, why was that not good?
Well, you took advantage of an already active climate in hockey when it comes to racial issues.

However, rather than raising attention to actual issues in hockey, you drew a ridiculous parallel that undermines what many BIPOC are actually trying to solve.
Not only are you stealing the spotlight from people who are actually trying to make change, you’re also giving those against making hockey for everyone more ammo to justify why they don’t agree.
This ALSO isn’t your first time doing something like this, is it?

Your behaviour has been consistent. You continue to parade your fake woke agenda, even after being called out by NUMEROUS people.
You keep on walking around as Hockey Twitter’s White Knight, but we both know that your true intentions aren’t pure.

You and those who support you are doing damage to actual movements in this sport, but you don’t care!

Anything for the likes.
You were actively excited to “cancel” a 15-year-old POC for, not typing, but having a slur pasted in his drafts.

You’re not looking for real change. You’re looking for clout. And it’s about time that you finally get some heat for it.
Why do I keep harping on about it?

Because it’s genuinely disheartening as an actual POC to see so many people rally around someone who’s actively helping in making this community a worse place for people like me.

It’s frustrating to see her parade these takes every so often.
I hope you see this and FINALLY get understand, but you won’t.

Why? Because you blocked me when I tried explaining it more politely the first time!

You’re a sick POS who knows exactly what they’re doing.
I’m not even gonna get started on her friends, who actively tried undermining my efforts to explain what she did wrong the first time.

Have a good one, everyone.
