There are two ways to look at the administration's sudden taking up arms against anti-white things like the 1619 Project: this is a sincere thing that occurred to them just now, or it's electioneering aimed at shoring up support among white voters 1/
Considering that 1619 and anti-white theory has been around for a while and never blipped on the administration's radar until now, it's likely the latter 2/
I'm not saying this up to denigrate the efforts of the right and people like Christopher Rufo or to black pill, but to remind us that there is a chance none of this sticks past November if *we* don't make it stick 3/
Recall the antifa terror designation threat (never happened), the defunding of sanctuary cities (never happened, recently threatened again), and the immigration ban that wasn't actually a ban until we raised hell and has an expiration date 4/
The implementation of the critical race theory directive entrusts the swamp to drain itself. That's not a good sign 5/
For this all to stick, it'll likely take us paying attention rather than claiming victory and calling it a day. Keep in mind that the latest threat analysis by DHS concluded "white supremacy" is a bigger threat than antifa, BLM, or any foreign terror group 6/
There is no plan but what we make, and with the level of subterfuge that goes on within the administration and every branch of the fedgov, it takes an active, vigilant, and frankly cynical base to not get baited with red meat and ultimately played 7/
Also: note how popular this has been with white voters. Republicans who insisted Trump can't possibly signal support for whites the way he does blacks and Hispanics because that's way too taboo just got proven wrong. He can, and it's hugely popular with them and even nonwhites 8/
This might sound insane and career-ending to say, but a president who is willing to stand up for America's most unfairly maligned demographic is a president who will be hugely popular. And as a Hispanic, I respect the strength involved in that stand 9/
Do not respond to this thread by telling me Hispanics are natural conservatives 10/
