i dont think a lot of ppl understands this. but afaik, abi wasnt on any div1 team's interest. he wasn't even on our list until the extended trade deadline.

even with his addition, i dont think ppl still bet on us. we know dude could pass but guys would still need to (catch the ball first &) score the bucket. at that level & intensity, ud be crazy to think that its easy.

what i think ppl dont give enough credit is that we hv multiple guys whod be another team's go-to scorer at 20+ppg. ppl's perception is that we're "seasoned" & "undersized" & everyone like their chances against us.

not to long ago we were all 'live by the 3, die by the 3' (or have u forgotten the quote?) #bandwagon but in reality we put our money on big man more than marksman.

ultimately, his presence puts all of us into places. it gave me the chance to play the game the right way. give up the ball early, fill up open spaces & be patient. then defense, defense & defense.

cant wait to hear OGs be telling lifetime stories.

and oh, this thread is just my feeling abt this whole thing.. u gotta give credit where credit is due.
