Hollywood Tip: Fandoms are like bees. They pollinate our flowers. Be gentle with them. Take the honey while showing calm, mutual respect. Couple may be stingers, but most will be chill.

But if you decide to go beating the damn hive with a stick, ya can’t cry about getting stung.

Obviously there’s always exceptions, no one is under obligation to respect fandoms that specifically go counter to representation (i.e. toxic parts of fandoms like for Marvel & Star Wars who target women, POC, etc for invading the straight white male space). This is obvious.

10+ years in Social Media Management for celebs, dealing with global fandoms for billion dollar movie franchises, comic book films and shows, fandoms tied to people from Disney teen stuff (whew lordy), etc etc.

Just trust me. Respect the bees.
