I have written article titled “Welcome to the Age of Ridiculousness”. In this article I draw parallels between slay politicians and slay queens, the spectacle of the contemporary moment.
The latter ridiculously use social media to generate likes which in turn increase their premium - they either get rich blessers who fund their lavish lifestyles or get endorsement deals and get paid by the high number of likes.
All manner of ridiculousness is witnessed by the public daily as slay queens show-off flesh & high life whilst chasing likes. & yes, most of the ridiculousness is staged, faked. Fake queens dominate social media pages. They are otherwise called influencers who shape social trends
On the other hand we have the slay politicians who employ ridiculousness to increase their political capital.

They do all manner of uncharacteristic things like swearing, shouting rhetoric and projecting pseudo-radicalism whilst chasing likes.
They spare no effort inviting us into their private spaces whilst the public knows less about whether or not they truly endure pain trying to solve our problems of economic decline and grinding poverty.
Thanks for the lack of the six pack, the politician doesn’t immediately show-off flesh like the slay queen, but the depth of ridiculousness is parallel.
This is after all, the Age of Ridiculousness, the era where the number of likes and following equals capital (money and votes/membership)
Another common feature is that slay queens and slay politicians live a temporary bubble which may burst in a moment, yet their are oblivious to this reality.

Lastly, both lead with ridiculousness instead of ideas thus making them poor; poverty of ideas...
But then again I am advised not to publish such an article. It might as well share the abstract.
