My employer is closed on Sundays, but it’s harvest time for a lot of things and we rent out equipment for processing grapes and apples, so I was there for just a few hours taking in and sending out rentals. And, of course, if any of those folks had a last minute ingredient, sure.
I also agreed to allow one man and his child to dart in and just buy a bit of grain to brew with; a thing I maybe am not supposed to do, but am nice so I tend to.

I was glad, because he told me why he was so desperate as he was paying for his grain.
He’d been gifted some fresh hops, and was starting to brew last night when tear gas seeped into his home. He felt he couldn’t trust the mash he’d just made.

He kept saying, over and over, how glad he was he hadn’t added the hops yet.

His kiddo was all smiles. So sweet.
There’s nothing here but just one more story of tear gas having broad harm.

I wondered how he’d handled caring for himself and the kiddo and anyone else in the home.

Tear gas is just evil. Wheeler, the PPB, anyone who is ok with it can prance around in it & leave others alone.
I am horrified enough by tear gas in the context the cops say it’s required in.

The blasé disregard for anyone uninvolved is even more atrocious and it’s a sign that Wheeler and PPB are absolutely indifferent to other humans.

I wish this were a surprise. But it’s just Sunday.
