Ramoshi's were not allowed to settle or cultivate, whatever less land they had were taken away from them by the #Peshwas they went and settled on #Nizams land. #Umaji realized the state of Penury & started motivating the youths of his tribe to stand & fight for self freedom.

Soon after the fall of #MarathaEmpire #Umaji raised a tiny army against the #British. His anti-British manifesto asked the country-men to fight against the foreign rulers. To capture him, the #BritishGovernment announced a bounty of Rs. 10,000/-. Kalu & Nana kulkarni deceived
