Totally silent Uber ride except when the driver sneezed and I said "bless you" and now I'm thinking about how absurd certain cultural customs are

and also how I have OCD (I get extremely anxious if I sneeze and nobody says bless you, or if someone else sneezes and I don't say bless you/gesundheit)

I usually say "gesundheit", just because I'm Jewish.... but he didn't respond when I said that at first..... not like g-d is gonna care but ..... see above.....

Like sometimes i've sneezed and had to ask my husband to say "bless you" because my glitchy fuckin brain demands it. you have to pick your battles
