Totally silent Uber ride except when the driver sneezed and I said "bless you" and now I& #39;m thinking about how absurd certain cultural customs are
and also how I have OCD (I get extremely anxious if I sneeze and nobody says bless you, or if someone else sneezes and I don& #39;t say bless you/gesundheit)
I usually say "gesundheit", just because I& #39;m Jewish.... but he didn& #39;t respond when I said that at first..... not like g-d is gonna care but ..... see above.....
Like sometimes i& #39;ve sneezed and had to ask my husband to say "bless you" because my glitchy fuckin brain demands it. you have to pick your battles
