Okay. I was so hyped for Excalibur Sonic being in Sonic Forces Speed Battle but dang... He was a bit of a let down compaired to how they made Whisper and Tangle. Its like they didn't even give him justice and just focused on design

First of, his first ability. Sure, Sword. Swing it around to deal damage to your opponents. Targets 3 lanes, nice but the range is really short. It can barely hit anyone unless they're next to you. Like how can you hit someone that has the potential to attack you back. (Continue)
Second. Judgement Sword (Aka weaker version of the Lightning Ability). Time span is too long. Even with upgrades that decreases attack time makes it even worse because you need more shards to make it shorter. Plus the damage is weak so its really bad... (Continue)
3rd. The boost ability. Its really nice that it removes an opponent's ability but the time span is really short... Like how can I even hit an opponent if the boost ability has a short time span...

What I can suggest to SEGA Hardlight to fix Excalibur Sonic:
1. For his first ability, give it a blade wave, animation is still the same but similar to Chaos' First Ability rather than swinging it multiple times to be able to reach opponents from far away.

2. Shorter time span for Judgement Sword and longer stop time if it hits the opponent.
And 3. Extra boost time for his boost ability
They could even switch the places for Judgement Sword with his First ability to make him more viable against opponents

I don't want to hate Excal Sonic, I really do. He's the first ver of Sonic from the other games to be added here. It gave me hope to see other versions of Sonic like his Werehog form to be added in as well. But I hope SEGA Hardlight sees their mistake and fix him while they can
Like I said before, I spent 300+ Red Rings just to be able to use him early but yeah... He sucks... I don't want to end this thread on a sour note so here.
