Anyone who cooks a fair bit has tried something new--a new recipe or ingredient or method or what have you--and had it fail catastrophically. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

My experiment with baker’s cinnamon and coffee cake was a spectacular fail.
The last time I made mac and cheese, I added the cheese too quickly and the bechemel sauce broke and separated. I just tossed it all at that point.
This thread was inspired by watching @kenjilopezalt's "It's still pizza" video and loving how realistic he was about his pizza falling apart. It just happens.
