Please provide your child w at least one mask Grade 1-8. School begins at 9:15 and ends at 3:35.

During the Optional Orientation Day Ss will be invited to come to school and participate in some outdoor education, community building, and have an opportunity to get used to some of the procedures and protocols. There will be no curricular or academic activities.

The smaller numbers on each day will allow students to ease back into returning to school. They will practise moving through the school, learn about routines around handwashing, as well as understanding their space in the school and the playground.

We encourage all families to view the Elementary Reopening Schools video prior to the Optional Orientation Day to learn what students can expect on the first day of school.

Bussing is not provided for these optional days.

Please remember, all parents/guardians must complete a Daily Self-Assessment for each child prior to attending school. Ss (and parents if accompanying their children) are expected to wear their mask as they walk onto school property.

On the Optional Day, Ss will meet their Ts behind the school on the black top. All classroom teachers will have a sign with their name and class code on it and will be spread out in numerical order. This will be the same procedure for the first day of school. #huskiestories
