VR is niche. I keep hearing that "When enough computational power will be available on AR glasses, we expect this medium to make AR mainstream". I wear glasses all the time. Keeping the lenses clean, and keeping the glasses safe is a constant burden. Now add charging - no thanks. https://twitter.com/Post_Market/status/1302594551807344645
I must wear glasses, so I tolerate the constant tax and cost over time of wearing them. There will need to be very compelling reasons for someone with good eyesight to want to burden themselves with wearing and caring for AR glasses all the time.
Not to mention you will have a cellular and/or WiFi transmitter constantly emitting one inch from your head all day long.

Does anyone actually sit down and think through all the relevant technological, physiological and even psychological taxes/problems/constraints?
Not to mention, a certain percentage of the power consumed by these glasses will be emitted as heat. So now I have a EMF and heat emitter attached to my face all day.
