From a voters list of approx. 1.9 mil only about 37% voted.

406k for the JLP
304k for the PNP

That’s 57% and 43% respectively.

It also means only about 22% of those eligible to vote selected this government and 15% the opposition.

Both have a lot of work to do as 63% abstained - never voted and let’s put that maybe 2% of that are dead, sick and or migrated.

People are on the road everyday - COVID did make a few stay home but IMO I doubt that could be another 2%.

Still 59% left ...

Whereas both parties should look at why they were chosen and or rejected - a deeper study is needed to see why the others aren’t interested.

Is it time for independent candidates or a third party ? Maybe a coalition government in the future ?
