giving all dr characters my own personal designs bc i don’t wanna draw over sexualized characters also some of their outfits are ugly and i wanna add my own headcanons so i’m gonna make this a thread of those

the only thing i changed about makoto is that i got rid of his blazer bc i felt like it was kinda pointless and i gave him freckles
sayaka i changed a lot. i don’t like how over used the sailor school girl uniform is in the series so i tried to give her more trendy clothes

i haven’t drawn any more yet so i’ll update as i go

we deserved kyoko in a suit
idk i made her hair a bit shorter and also made gave her like shorter boots. doc martins? timbs? yaddas? you decide

OH also i made her taller bc there was already a height difference between her and makoto but i felt it needed to be greater

idk i didn’t change much. i made his pants ripped and not as baggie at the ends, gave him a chain, eyebrow piercing, and got rid of the jacket. personally i felt like the jacket was a little too much so to replace it i gave him a tucked in baggie shirt. also gave him platforms

idk i made takas boots shorter bc personally i didn’t like the knee high boots, and i shortened mondos jacket bc it felt like there was too much going on with such a long jacket. i also gave him boots with a tiny heel, and made his hair a little diff

so i made them both short bc i feel like antagonists/villains that are short are always way cooler also i’m tired of all dr characters being like 5’7-5’11
i tried to give them similar outfits but opposing color schemes just to add contrast, and obviously i tried to make

one much more busy and one more minimalist bc i think it represents their characters very well
also idk if i like the ripped tights on junko but it’s an idea i’ve had since i started drawing so

there wasn’t much i wanted to change abt byakuya i ties his hair up tho bc i felt like it (this also means his hair is just a bit longer)
as i mentioned i hate the over usage of the school girl outfit so i will eliminate it from all dr characters, toko included

idk i like the long skirt so really i only changed the shirt. it’s cropped and it has those frilly shoulder things that i like and probably some like fancy trim, also her skirt is now high waisted
i added this after scanning but i also gave her frilly socks

also i almost made byakuya 5’7. still considering it but at the same time i felt like his height is maybe something i shouldn’t change

so bc i hate that school girl uniform i did not keep sakura in it, and that’s really all i changed. since she’s the ultimate martial artist i decided to do a little research and put her in a keikogi, which i believe is the traditional outfit for japanese martial arts

for hina i just made her shorts a bit longer and i made them match her jacket (which isn’t very obvious so i’m saying it)

chihiro and yasuhiro!!!
the only thing i changed about chihiro was that i made her skirt a little less poofy, and i took yasuhiros jacket bc there’s just. too many layers lmao

i changed nothing about celeste except her height, she’s now 5’7
there wasn’t enough room on the page for hifumi and i’m still debating on if i should even draw him or not so for now that’s it
