Politicians on trains should be a 'coffee table book'

The thing is they can make for great clean pics and for me (once you've checked the backgrounds and other stuff) really work
The window adds to it

A nightmare that can happen is when you carefully plan an arrival shot only to find an opposition politican is on the same train and has arranged arrival shots at the same station - that can be both amusing and funny

and nice trees add to the sense of calm

not sure what happened to his sleeves but again the window is important

And finally for now - proof that a train and a window make for a good photo
I might add some of my own tomorrow but I really think this would be a great, if a bit niche, charity coffee table book

And of course it isn't confined to the UK - Joe Biden on trains could be a book on its own

But it is important to get the 'arrival shot' right - and remember that pictures 'speak'
