You ever see a female character where her fans call anyone who dislikes her misogynistic and you're just there like damn if hating her means I hate women then

Can't decide if I dislike it more when the character is like proper racist and effectively utilises girl power and all that or when the character is literally just nice and cute and in love with the main character and nothing else and if you find that boring then you hate women

Like don't get me wrong I am absolutely down to put a lot of effort into reinterpreting female characters as more nuanced and flawed than they are in the source material I'm just not gonna do that for hinata naruto

That being said I would personally fistfight anyone who talked shit about nami so I guess I'm a hypocrite. I don't like people who don't like bitchy girls
