Before jumping on a rise work out why you are buying a player, is it for a short term flip, transfer hold, long term potential and therefore understand how you expect to make money from them, you might pay a few pence more but it will benefit you in long run
If you do that and they dip, as long as your reasons are still valid you should have confidence to hold, if they keep rising to your exit point you will know when to sell
