Focus on your opportunities and strengths. Big channels aren’t some threat and the algorithm is not your enemy or weakness, it’s not Kryptonite...

If you want to express yourself and experiment, don’t get hung up on growth at the start

If you want GROWTH, you’re going to have to get CLEAR on exactly WHO you are making content for and you have to PUT VIEWERS FIRST...

It’s hard to balance what you want to make against what people want to watch. If you want VIEWS it’s about them and not you...

REPEAT VIEWERS
SHARES OF YOUR VIDEOS

That’s it. Focus on just these things. Make these your TARGET.

Make videos with a strategy for hitting these things HARD AF.

If you can make these all happen you will GROW.

BRAND DEALS.
Don’t cash in early just to feel validated and “legit”.

As much as you don’t want to hear it I don’t recommend taking on brand deals before 10K subs.

You get STUCK undercharging and risk alienating the audience.

Focus on GROWTH and becoming biz savvy first.

VIEWS come from TOPIC, TITLE, THUMBNAILS and TIMING.

We don’t click on what we don’t care about or what doesn’t make us curious. PUT VIEWERS FIRST.

Do not expect views on lazy thumbnails, and random titles that don’t make us trust a quality video is behind the click.

QUALITY VIDEOS are not measured in views, they are measured by YOUTUBE in watch time, and average viewer duration and early drop off rate... PERIOD.

They have stated this on the record.
Quality content is content they give up minutes or hours of their life for.

SEO is not about TAGS, it’s about everything. Tags can help you indicate some level of your optimization and give content.

FOCUS on Title, Description, Thumbnail, Captions and Playlist for SEO as well as Timestamps.

SEO Ranking is not dependent on SUBS or Views btw.

CONSISTENCY will improve your QUALITY. When we say QUANTITY we are mostly talking about CONSISTENCY, FREQUENCY and INVENTORY.

Look to any business and these things are just as important as delivering a quality product.

They are another way we PUT THE VIEWERS FIRST.
