I haven’t been able to stop thinking about #Tenet since I saw it a few days ago. Some may disagree, but I think this film is up there with some of Christopher Nolan’s best (and possibly my favorite of his films). My mind is racing just trying to convey my thoughts on the film so
I’m just going to make a list of things I loved:

1. One of the most gorgeous looking films I’ve ever seen. Christopher Nolan has fully embraced the style of Michael Mann that he’s been enamored with for years and put it into the spy genre, to amazing results.
2. The mechanics of the time inversion (albeit hard to grasp on first watch) makes this one of the more original “time travel” films I’ve seen.
3. Ludwig Goransson’s score is easily one of my favorites of the past 10 years or so. The mix of orchestral and electronic elements make for a great listen even when you’re not watching the movie.
4. John David Washington and Robert Pattinson’s chemistry is out of this world. By the end of the film, when all is revealed, you feel an incredible sense of melancholy after you’ve been through this journey with them. They’re the heart and soul of the film.
5. The opening scene at the opera is easily one of my favorite intros to a film, ever. It’s an amazing scene in its own right, and the fact that this is the first movie I’ve seen in theaters since March made it even more exciting.
Blockbusters don’t need to be dumbed down. #Tenet proves that. I honestly can’t say how many more times I’m going to go back and relive this ride of a film. I may be in the minority here, but I think it’s a masterpiece.
