The Erica situation! A thread!

I follow the #BBNaija shows over the years and I feel what transpired last night with Erica could have been better handled. I understand the HMs are free to be themselves or have strategies which is what makes the game interesting..

..but I feel what happened with Erica could have been better handled by the organisers. I believe @Ebuka had a big part in this. I have watched @ik_osakioduwa in the best and the way he handles questions thrown at the HMs was always by giving hints leaving the HMs puzzled...

..Ebuka in a bid to "shake tables" went too far for me...now I understand this isn't the first time he throws such questions but when it was clear his question was causing a mental breakdown for Erica, Biggie should have called her in as the father figure he is in the house..

...People have been quick to label Erica all sorts of names, she's been body shamed since she politely turned down Laycon's advances preferring to be friends with him cos she was clearly not physically attracted to him. But he wanted more..

...Theirs could have been a strong friendship like Tobi and Alex in the past but Laycon wanted more from Erica. He constantly talked about her even once saying if it was outside, he would have easily had his way with her...

...Before some Icons attack this tweets, from day 1, i had pointed out Laycon as this year's winner...it was clear he would win more fans and he is very intelligent and strategic...the truth still remains he manipulated the situation to his own benefit..it was his strategy...

...I just feel Erica mentally broke down and it was obvious and the organisers should have protected her either by Biggie calling her privately. There should be therapists on standby and she could have been evaluated or advised and if need be, send her home....

...they let her breakdown on live tv and it is sad. And this is very different from the Ceec or Tacha situations. Erica was mentally shattered, she had been gaslighted and Ebuka played a big part...they were all responsible...

...In the end, if she gets evicted today, I hope the provide Erica with good security till she gets home cos the fans Laycon have, many are angry and she could easily be harmed...

..I hope she gets a good management, they get her therapy and help her through to the next phase. Erica was destined for top 2 finish in year's #BBNaija..it is sad it maybe ending this way. Wish her all the best...not forgetting Laycon and Prince's composure though.
