The top performing US media pages on Facebook over the past week, in terms of total interactions (via @crowdtangle).
@brianstelter asked Facebook exec @nick_clegg about this. Clegg pretty much dismissed the idea that engagement matters, saying instead that the content that is seen by most eyeballs is not hyper-partisan. Unfortunately, can& #39;t fact check that as FB doesn& #39;t make that data public!
Regardless, seems strange to dismiss the method in which Facebook& #39;s own tool ( @crowdtangle) measures popularity on the platform now that Facebook doesn& #39;t care for what the data says. Reach data would be great to see, but most engaged content provides valuable insight too.
