a lot of professors ask how to make their classrooms accessible & they want it to mean asking people use their mic or posting slides beforehand. But when it means eliminate attendance policies & late penalties or not require documentation for accommodations - they lose interest.
law profs hate hearing that grades are ableist, hate when accessibility means more than a few tech fixes.

A dozen profs @ cuny signed a letter in support of abolitionist politic recently but we’ve seen no material shifts in policies. Words mean things !
