I know the #2020Census doesn’t get as much attention as the election, but did you know the results of this “boring” and “unsexy” count are expected to determine how much power each voter has in choosing the next U.S. president in 2024 & 2028? #DontForgetAboutTheElectoralCollege
Maybe political power isn’t your thing.

What about money?

What about the $1,500,000,000,000 (that’s $1.5 trillion) a year in federal tax dollars that are distributed based in part on your community’s census count to fund Medicare, Medicaid, education, roads, public services?
Another thing about the #2020Census that’s often overlooked is how it informs policy makers, business owners & researchers.

Getting the count right means that by the time there’s a coronavirus vaccine, we’re more likely to know how many vaccination shots each part of U.S. needs.
Anyway, sorry to bore you with all this #2020Census talk about power, money and COVID-19 vaccines. Back to reporting...
